And stickers are available in all shapes and sizes at this company based in Elst, Gelderland. “I am originally a software developer,” Mark explains. “And my parents had a printing company. Starting in 2001, I used my IT background to expand their business. I enjoyed that entrepreneurship so much that I took over my parents’ company in 2006.”

“Digitalization put more and more pressure on the market,” he knows all too well. “I saw other printing companies going into a downward spiral. It helped that we specialized in stickers and that I could help companies connect our printing software to their systems. Meanwhile, sales and marketing was a downer, though.”

“So I started looking for an online marketing agency. But to an agency near me, because I want to be able to sit down with someone regularly. Through Google, I came across the website of dofollow. Good stick

“Every month a specialist from dofollow sits here in the office for a day. For me that is also a good stick. On such a day we can work on different things. That is very broad. For example, last year we adapted the online marketing to the AVG, the new privacy legislation. I really couldn’t have done that myself.”

Insights thanks to monthly reports

“Currently we are working on the flow of the website,” he continued. “It really needs to improve. We also see that in the monthly reports I get from dofollow. Many visitors go directly to the order page, but then order by phone or email. So that does indicate that the information on the order page is rather overwhelming. It’s nice to get advice on that.”

A very good year

And what are all those efforts paying off? “Last year we had a very good year. That was also because of the good economy and the fact that existing customers were ordering more,” Mark nuances. “But I’m sure the help of dofollow contributed to that growth to a large extent.”
